Apprentice Green consists of four technologically advanced single family homes built to achieve the highest possible rating under the National Association of Homebuilders Green program. Each home is subject to texting before, during and after construction as part of an ongoing process of collecting data for the NAHB Research Center, who is a key partner in the project.
The first home was completed and sold in Fall 2009. The current home for sale, 560 Old Market Street, is available for sale and will be on display during the 2010 Lancaster/Lebanon Parade of Homes, June 12-20. Two additional homes are planned in upcoming years.
